Meet David, a fifth-year architecture major at Woodbury University. He was drawn to the school for its small class sizes and the top-notch program in the School of Architecture. Currently, David is working on the "Solar Decathlon," a project aimed at constructing a sustainable dorm room on campus using a 3D printer, solar panels, and other eco-friendly materials. He eagerly anticipates the project's completion and the jury's visit in April. For his senior thesis, he's tackling the challenge of creating sustainable and affordable housing solutions, particularly for the homeless in South LA. The homelessness crisis is a major concern in LA, and David is determined to do his part in finding a solution. He's set to graduate in May 2023, both excited and bittersweet, as he's had an amazing five years at Woodbury, where he has honed his design skills and explored innovative and sustainable ideas for the future. He's eager to apply his newfound knowledge and expertise in the field of architecture.
