Motorcycles are the most dangerous transportation machines, yet they are absolutely the most fun to go places with. Here are five things you shouldn't wear when riding motorcycle, to keep you safe on the road.
1- Don’t be so proud of your hair, cover your head with a helmet. Helmets are the most important and every rider needs to have one on. It could save your life. here some important tips for picking the right helmet.
Don't buy the cheap helmets, instead invest in a good helmet one that has been approved by DOT (Department of Transportation).
Don’t buy used helmets, because helmets do wear off.
Pick the perfect size for you, helmets size is crucial as they do adjust to the size of your head. You don't want the helmets to be tight which will cause you headache, and you don't want it to be too big which will allow air to come in and make it super uncomfortable.
2- You got some muscles that you may want to show them off, but on your motorcycle is not the place to do it. When riding, you should cover your whole body because if you fall the street won't forgive you, you will have scratches all over your body. For the minimum protection you need to wear at least a jacket with protection pads for your elbows and shoulders.
3- Swimming shorts are for swimming not riding motorcycle, you should cover your legs with special pants for riding that has protection for your knees. Or at least wear heavy jeans that can provide some protection for your skin.
4- You just bought new fancy sandals or new Yeezys, you should know that they are not designed to ride a motorcycle. Most of the minor injuries happen to the ankles and feet. Therefore, you need to wear special boots that are designed to ride. Riding boots has protection for your toes and ankles.
5- You got your nails done and you so happy with them, and you want to ride bare hands to show off your pretty nails, well it is very important to cover your hands with riding gloves, that can protect your hands from flying object, and also give you good grip while holding the handle bar.
