1)  Priscilla's Gourmet Coffee Tea & Gifts

A small homey environment filled with people working on their laptops or catching up with friends. As soon as I take a step inside, I feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every time I come to Priscilla’s, my love for this place grows more and more. I am greeted with the smell of freshly brewed coffee and baked sweets. I spotted one of my favorites – chocolate chip muffin. They have a wide selection of drinks, and some unique options. Visiting this coffee shop will brighten your day with their rich coffee and heavenly treats. I sit at my favorite table, next to the window while sipping on my vanilla latte and checking my emails. This special place makes me feel relaxed and comfortable with its intimate ambiance. Not only do they have delicious treats and drinks, but the employees treat you like family with their hospitality. If there is a time where I decide to try a new drink, the staff helps me pick the perfect drink for my mood. I take a glance and notice the majority of people seem to be in their own world. It is interesting to see what type of drinks and sweets others like to get. The smiles and conversations happening all around me, gives this place a cozy feel. Suddenly, I feel right at home at Priscilla’s Gourmet Coffee Tea & Gifts.

 2) Basecamp

Whether you are just trying to grab a cup of coffee or a bite to eat, Basecamp is a place to put on your list. Basecamp is located right by the equestrian center which is nice because you can see people casually riding their horses on the street. It is a great hide away since it's more on the quieter side of Burbank. As soon as you step inside you feel overwhelmed but in a good way. This artsy coffee shop can make any person feel relaxed with its colorful and creative look. The ambience is definitely charming to say the least. With the large selection of food and drinks, there is always something for someone (I recommend the vanilla latte with soy milk). The staff is friendly and extremely welcoming to each and every one of their customers. After trying out Basecamp, you will find your new go-to spot for both coffee and breakfast.

3) Blvd Cafecito

Located on Magnolia between Buena Vista and Hollywood way, you can find the perfect spot to stop by and get a cup of joe. This coffee shop is semi new to the Burbank area. Blvd Cafecito is not just a typical coffee place, but it is a Cuban coffee shop. Do not let the exterior of the place deceive you because once you walk in you are immediately distracted by their selection of sweets as well as their vintage decor. Since this is a Cuban coffee shop, they have other options to choose from such as a horchata latte or a cortadito (Cuban espresso). One of the best parts of coming to this spot is the staff. The barista's are provide a positive experience and make you feel right at home. With the outstanding service and coffee, Blvd Cafecito is sure to make you forget about Starbucks completely.
