​Meet Brittney, a fourth-year communications major with a film minor at Woodbury University. She is excited to join 7500 magazine and gain experience in field reporting, learning about people's stories, and expressing her creativity through writing. Before attending Woodbury, Brittney spent a year at the University of Missouri, where she interned as a production assistant and sports reporter at KOMU-TV in Columbia. Through this experience, she developed a love for journalism work and writing about sports in a diverse environment. She chose Woodbury to pursue her passion for screenwriting and incorporate her interest in sports broadcast journalism. If given the opportunity, Brittney would love to pursue a career in sports broadcasting, where she can interview athletes and develop her own research questions and dialogue.
