​Meet Katrina, a first-year media studies student at Woodbury University. She chose the school for its inclusivity to her needs as a student living with a disability, and for its on-campus housing options. A lifelong lover of the entertainment industry, Katrina is passionate about casting and behind-the-scenes work in media. Woodbury's location near entertainment studios was a key factor in her decision to attend. To her surprise, a web design class in high school introduced her to digital illustration and Photoshop, skills she can now apply to her media studies and build a portfolio for a career in journalism. Excited to use this knowledge, Katrina is eager to enhance her portfolio in her Journalism class.
